Our Front Loading Oedometer is designed for compression tests on soil to determine various soil properties such as unit sediment compression index, resilient index, and consolidation coefficient. It features a rigid construction to minimize frame distortion and offers three lever arm ratios: 9:1, 10:1, and 11:1 with a maximum stress capacity of 8.8MPa.

Compliant with ASTM D2435, D3877, D4546, and BS1377 standards, this oedometer comes with a beam fitted with a counterbalance weight and beam support jack for accurate loading of specimens. The Oedometer Bench, suitable for this oedometer, can accommodate at least three oedometers and includes locking nuts for secure fixation.

Additionally, the package includes standard consolidation cells with upper and lower porous discs, cutting rings of various sizes made of tin bronze with a diameter of 50mm. The Slotted Steel Weight Set comprises weights ranging from 0.25kg to 10kg, and a Digital Micrometer with a precision of 12.7*0.001mm is also included.
